Hand Cast Irish Stone Turoe Paperweight Bronzed Forde Crafts

A beautiful hand cast Irish Turoe Stone paperweight by Kieran Forde of Forde Crafts Ltd. which closed its doors October 19, 2007. This paperweight is an original bronze bonded scaled model replica of a Monolith (1st c. BC) which is decorated in the Celtic La Tine style found in County Galway, Ireland. It is 2″ high, 2.5″ wide and 2″ deep and has a felted bottom. In recent years it is hard to find the quality products we are used to seeing by Irish craftsmen. This piece is the perfect example of the artistic craftsman at work. Made in Ireland
