Belleek China 2020 Edition Annalong Cornmill 33rd Annual Bell Ornament

A lovely ornament this year! This year’s Annual Christmas Ornament has been inspired by an Irish Cornmill in Annalong, County Down, Northern Ireland. Annalong Cornmill Annual Ornament 2020 In operation since the early 1800s, the busy Cornmill milled oats supplied by local farmers into oatmeal. Closed by the 1960s, the beautifully restored mill now houses an exhibition showing the milling process in detail. The waterwheel which powered the mill proudly stands at the side and can still be seen working. Hand painted on both sides, the intricate work of the painters highlight the mill doors, sacks of corn, magnificent waterwheel and lucky shamrock. Hand crafted at historical Belleek Pottery, Annalong Cornmill is the 33rd Annual Edition Ornament and will only be available in 2020.
