Saint Brigid ‘Mary of the Gael’ was born in the mid-fifth Century and was buried at Downpatrick beside Saints Patrick and Colmcille. Brigid is remembered for her great charity and kindness. She is only second to Saint Patrick, among Ireland’s heritage of Saints. It is widely believed that this cross protects the home and those in it from evil and want. This Cross is 8″ long and 8″ wide.  Comes boxed with care instructions. Made by Mullingar Pewter in Ireland.
