Killashandra Cross Co. Cavan Ireland

This 8.5″ x 3.5″ cross is a replica of a cross found in the small village of Killashandra in Co. Cavan. The cross has a triskel center representing the Trinity, the triple nature of God. Note the many shamrocks. The Shamrock was used by St. Patrick to explain the Trinity. The cap at the top represents the small thatched churches of the early Celtic people.
